Johor Bahru is served by the Sultan Ismail International Airport. Not in the city of Johor Bahru, but it is in Senai, about 28 kilometers. National carrier, Malaysia Airlines and budget Air Asia is here, carrying passengers daily in Johor Bahru. From there you can take a taxi to the city center.

Johor Bahru is connected to Singapore by two links. The most common is the Causeway, which enters into the heart of Johor Bahru city. Royal Johor Country Club

Royal Johor Country Club is 6964 yard par 72, was built in 1972 with cowgrass Serangoon greens and fairways. In 1991/92 the course was updated. The greens and tees were rebuilt using Bermuda grass. More tanks and bunkers were incorporated to make the course more difficult.

An excellent design with good separation between the adjacent streets, provided by trees and open spaces. Much of the original forest has been preserved, creating a scenic natural course. Spread over undulating terrain, the course offers a mental challenge as well as golf. Royal Johor is one of the great courses in Malaysia and favors long hitters. It is characterized by generous streets in most of the holes.

Visitors are welcome, but weekends and holidays is a time sheet in operation as early booking is necessary. Membership in the private club, the Royal Johor Country Club is a very tight schedule of tournaments, especially during weekends. It is best to consult with the Club before planning a visit. In the morning the day of the week are usually free.
